We have observed that issuing Letters of No Objection with conditions often does not achieve the intended outcome, as such conditions are not consistently enforceable or considered in the approval process.
Going forward, residents are advised to only issue a Letter of No Objection where there is full and clear support for the proposed development.
If there are concerns or reservations, these should be formally raised through objections or the appropriate public participation channels, rather than issuing a conditional approval.
This approach ensures clarity, protects community interests, and strengthens the integrity of resident feedback in the planning process
